Background
I have always loved to sing. My daddy used to call me “the singing baby.” I went to private schools from daycare through my senior year in high school. In elementary school, I was in the choir. I also played piano and clarinet for a year. I always wanted to be a ballerina. I took two years of gymnastics but never pursued it after that. I was in the choir during my high school years. I played on the volleyball, softball, and even had a year of cheer leading. I was the secretary of the student council, as well. And yes, I’m bragging 
Music
In the summer of 2007, I found a song called Time to Say Goodbye sung by Andrea Bochelli and Sarah Brightman. I instantly fell in love. I listened to that song so much my whole family was sick of it. In December 2007, I entered in a talent show at my church singing that song and won. Everyone loved it and tried to convince me to sing other than for fun. I didn’t. Not because I was uninterested but because I didn’t think I was good enough. Well, in December 2008, I entered into the talent show again. And again, people convinced me to start singing for real. So starting taking lessons in February 2009. And now, I really want to be a singer. My passion for music was awakened and I want everyone to hear me sing and be inspired. I want to show the world that I can do it!
Writing
I love to write. I love it even more when people read my writing and tell me what they think about it. That’s why I started blogging in the fall of 2008 and I love every second of it. I also like reading other people’s blogs and getting inspired to do something new or just getting a little laugh. I also write short stories and poems and hope that one day some of my stuff will get published.
